Print Space - Studio Members

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR STUDIO MEMBERS ONLY

We are trying out different ways to use Print Space which is the new learning space just across the courtyard from Northern Print.

On Wednesday 22 October we are opening it up for studio members to use. The cost will be £15 for the whole day, 10am-5pm and we are offering 7 places which must be pre-booked here.

There will be two presses set up:

·        One press will be set up for drypoint, photopolyer plates, etching and non-textured monoprints (basically anything that can be printed on the Rochat press in the studio)

·        One press will be set up for 3mm lino or woodcut.

All presses will be shared and everyone will have a table each to work on.

This may be a good opportunity for you to come and test out a print/s that you’ve been working on or you may want to come and use the space to do some drawing, photograph your work, sign artwork or sort out your prints.

As this is a test day and we are still setting up Print Space, you will be able to access the main studio to prepare paper, make damp packs, put grounds on plates etc.

We will bring all the ink over to Print Space you usually have access to.

Materials will be charged at the normal rates and and will be available from the main building.

Please note: if you book a place and then cancel with 48 hours notice or more you will receive a credit note for an alternative session/booking. No credit will be given if notice is given less that 48 hours before your session begins.
