Whether you are a beginner or an established printmaker, joining Northern Print as a studio member gives you so much more than affordable access to professional printmaking equipment, materials and technical support. Our community of members also benefit from opportunities to develop skills, take part in exclusive exhibitions and events and meet other people who share a passion for printmaking.
We have facilities for many printmaking processes such as screenprinting, etching and relief printing as well as digital and photographic methods. The studio is open five days a week including Saturdays and Thursday evenings.
The membership fee is £52 per year
Concessionary rate of £26.00 for 16 to 24 year olds and those in receipt of Income Support or Employment and Support Allowance. Proof required.
Please enquire for information about our 3-month associate membership for visitors and young people aged 16 to 24 year olds.
Please note: Northern Print’s trustees from time to time may consider additional support for those unable to cover the costs of access to the facilities. Please enquire for details of how to apply.
As a new member, regardless of your previous experience, you will need to complete a studio induction before being allowed to use the facilities without supervision. If you're an inexperienced printmaker or just feel a little bit rusty, then you'll need to take one of our classes to give you the skills and confidence to enable you to come back and use the studio independently.
