Delivery & Returns

How quickly will I receive my order?

We aim to deliver orders within 7-10 working days. If you require your item in a hurry then please let us know at enquiry@northernprint.org.uk and we'll try our best to help.

Who will deliver my order?

Small items and gifts are dispatched using Royal Mail 48 tracked. Prints are dispatched using Parcelforce Tracked & Signed. 

Can I use my own courier service for delivery?

Yes! If you would like to arrange your own courier service, please select ‘collect from gallery’ at checkout and then contact us to agree collection times for your purchase.

Do you deliver overseas?

We currently deliver to the UK only. If you would like to discuss overseas delivery, please email enquiry@northernprint.org.uk and we will try to accommodate your request. Deliveries outside of the UK may be subject to import duty and VAT charges which will be charged at destination by the courier and must be paid before delivery. These charges vary from country to country and Northern Print is not responsible for these charges. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Click and collect

Collection may be arranged from our gallery at Stepney Bank, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 2NP. We have a small number of free parking places at the front of our building which you are welcome to use when you collect your item. If you select this option at checkout we will be in touch with you to arrange a convenient collection date and time. Please note gallery opening times are currently variable, please contact us before making a visit to collect your item.

    Some items have a unique postage cost due to the nature of their shape and packaging requirements.

    Can I cancel an order?

    Providing the order hasn’t been dispatched you can cancel your order by emailing us at enquiry@northernprint.org.uk

    Returning an item

    While we hope you are pleased with your order, we understand that you may sometimes want to return an item. We accept returns made within 14 working days if you notify us prior to returning the item and that it is in the same condition as it was when you received it. Postage and packaging costs are non-refundable, except if the goods are faulty. 

    Please take extra care when handling unframed prints to avoid damage.

    Classes & courses

    If you are unable to attend a class or course, you may cancel your booking with 7 day’s notice. Cancellations with 7 day’s notice are eligible for a full refund less £2.50 booking charge per person / per course. Any cancellation for any reason within 7 days of the class or course will not be eligible for any refund. Click here to read the full terms & conditions.

    Framed prints

    We do not accept returns on framed prints as these are classed as a customised item and are sold as seen. If you are unhappy with the framing, we will work with you and the framing company to resolve the issue.

    Bespoke & custom items

    We cannot offer a refund on products or prints that have been customised to your specification and requirements. 

    How long will it take to receive my refund?

    Once we have received your item and have checked it is in the same condition as when it was delivered or have confirmed the item to be faulty we will issue your refund, minus postage and package and/or booking fees. Refunds are made to the card that was originally used for the transaction and can take between 2 and 10 working days to receive the refunded amount. 

    Can you supply me with an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN)? 

    If your refund was made to Visa or Mastercard we can supply you with an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) which may be used by your bank to help trace your refund if it appears to be missing.
