All workshops are delivered by a practising Artist Printmaker using professional quality equipment, materials and papers. Tutors have extensive experience of working with secondary-age children and are DBS checked.

Focus Areas
GCSE and A Level portfolio development
Our GCSE and A Level portfolio development work is particularly popular and supports students to develop their individual themes and areas of interest, contributing to higher exam grades.
“Some of these students pushed their work from an E grade to a B grade by using the press to generate high quality work.”
“The workshops Northern Print ran for our Year 13 students made a big impact on their work. We loved the outcomes students produced and it really helped with their A level portfolio development.”
Lyanne Fellows, Newcastle Sixth Form college
“One of the students has incorporated stitch and needle felting with some of her wood prints. It has been a really lovely addition to her portfolio and strengthened her ideas with alternative ways to explore text.”
Arts Award and Artsmark
Northern Print can support your school with Artsmark and Arts Award. Please see the relevant sections – add links – to learn how we can help.
“Helen was amazing during the workshop. The children had a large number of prints and t-shirts to produce and she really helped them to work as a team and understand what a deadline was. The artwork the children produced was used towards their Arts Award which they have all passed.”
