After a near fatal traffic accident at the age of eighteen, Frida Kahlo was forced to wear a variety of medical corsets for the rest of her life because her spine was too weak to support itself.
Frida’s last drawing was of a black angel accompanied by the words “I joyfully await the exit — and I hope never to return — Frida”

John VII is the pseudonym of David Lloyd. Originally from the North East of England, David is an alumni of Central Saint Martins and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy and spent most of his life working as an artist, musician and composer on both sides of the Atlantic.
