Woodcut is a traditional printmaking process that continues to captivate contemporary artists and designers.
This course will introduce you to the process using specialist; plywood, tools, ink and paper. You will learn how to transfer your image to the block, how to cut it and print it. Printing will be done by hand and using a traditional printing press. You will create a small edition of prints to take home. Upon completion of this course, you will have developed sufficient skills to become a member of Northern Print and begin to use the studio independently.
