Eriko Maki has reinterpreted traditional Japanese printmaking to develop her own personal way of working. The dots that appear in her work are created from household glue and the warm glow that emanates from her prints comes from the application of watercolour to the paper as a monoprint before the detailed collagraph is printed as a separate layer on top.  Work by Maki was selected to be shown at International Print Biennale 2009.

Edition of 12.

22cm x 22cm (image size)
