Membership Costs
Annual Rates
The membership fee is £65 per year
Concessionary rate of £32.50 for 16 to 24 year olds and those in receipt of Income Support or Employment and Support Allowance. Proof required.
Please note: Northern Print’s trustees from time to time may consider additional support for those unable to cover the costs of access to the facilities. Please enquire for details of how to apply.
Induction
As a new member, regardless of your previous experience, you will need to complete a studio induction before being allowed to use the facilities without supervision. If you're an inexperienced printmaker or just feel a little bit rusty, then you'll need to take one of our classes to give you the skills and confidence to enable you to come back and use the studio independently. Contact us to find out more about inductions.
Session Fees
In addition to the annual membership you pay a session fee every time you use the studio. These fees make a contribution towards the cost of running the studio and help to pay for some of the materials provided as part of the session eg. chemicals and cleaning products. Other printmaking materials eg. ink, paper and metal plates are available to buy at Northern Print.
Session fees are £9.40 for half a day and £15.50 for a full day.
Session fees include:
- Access to selected facility (e.g. etching; darkroom etc.) for agreed period;
- Some consumable materials;
- Some technical support;
- Tea/coffee and use of kitchen;
- Access to books and specialist magazines
