Susan’s work has always been about mountains. She finds inspiration in remote and marginal landscapes. They are the inspiration for her watercolours, etchings and monotypes. She spends as much time as she can in the mountains, walking, drawing and making watercolours in wild and lonely places. These are always the starting point for her work in the studio.
