Anja Percival has understandably gained many avid collectors of her evocative work.  Created in 2017, this beautifully detailed still life is part of a recent body of etchings finding wonder in domestic settings. This print won the Haigh Award at Printfest in 2017.

Anja has a fascination of the different atmospheres that light creates in both our rural and urban environments. Her compositions aim to combine different moods of light, with contrasting space and surface qualities. She enjoys working with a variety of etching techniques, including aquatint, ‘soft’ ground, ‘white’ ground and burnishing, which result in subtle tonal differences within her imagery.
