What you will learn

Our comprehensive screenprinting course is suitable for absolute beginners as you will be led step by step through the entire process from image preparation to printing a small edition.  At this two part workshop you will be supported through transferring your image onto a screen coated with photosensitive emulsion, image registration and printing in two colours using water-based inks. 

Upon completion of this course you will be able to take out a studio membership if you wish and, following a simple induction, you will be able to use the screenprinting area.

This course will take place over 2 sessions in the print studio at Northern Print.

Alex is an artist and a printmaker living and working in the North East of England. When he isn't making his own work he is busy with all things technical in the Northern Print studio.
