Online & In-Studio Combined Course

Our popular screenprinting course is suitable for absolute beginners as you will be led step by step through the entire process from image preparation to printing a small edition.  At this two part workshop you will be supported through transferring  your image onto a screen coated with photosensitive emulsion, image registration and printing in two colours using water-based inks. 

This course will take place over 2 sessions, one online and the second session will take place in the print studio at Northern Print.

What you'll learn

The first session will take place online and introduce you to the course, give you an overview of the screenprinting process and talk you through how to create a two layered image ready to go on the screen.

The following week you will come into Northern Print, transfer your image to the screen using photosensitive emulsion and print a small two-colour edition.

As the online session is live you can ask questions, share your progress and enjoy the company of other participants as they learn and experiment along with you at the same time.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to take out a studio membership if you wish and following a simple induction will be able to use the screenprinting area.
