The Late Shows, an award-winning free after-hours culture crawl, returned on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May 2026 across venues in Ouseburn Valley, Gateshead, and central Newcastle.
We were open on the Friday evening between 6pm & 10pm to celebrate an exhibition of new work by Japanese artist Fusako Yoshikawa and to provide woodcut printing experience.
In Print Space, participants could make a new print by artist Gail Bryson and contribute to a 5 metre long linocut designed by book illustrator Sara Ogilvie.
