A lot of people think that printmaking is aboutreproductions. Nothing could be further from the truth. Each print in Glossary is an original. That is to say it doesn't exist in any other form and was conceived and made purely as a print.

Glossary celebrates the very best in contemporary printmaking and takes the viewer on a journey into the private studios of seven artists working in the UK today through a series of specially commissioned films by Alan Fentiman which you can view below.

GLOSSARY ON FILM
This series of specially commissioned films by Alan Fentiman collectively form a key component of the Glossary exhibition. They take the viewer on a journey into the private studios of the featured artists and give insight into the motivations of why the artists make their work and the influence of printmaking in their practice.
