Workshops for People from Forced Migration Communities
Share
Northern Print will be running a series of workshops in the run up to Refugee Week. Northern Print is partnering up with Action Foundation for the workshops and they are open to anyone from forced migration communities and will be a combination of family drop-in’s and adult workshops. The work made during the workshops will be displayed in the learning space at the Baltic Art Gallery (or alternative space tbc).
There will be a piece of artwork everyone can be involved in. This will be available to work on at all of the workshops. Alongside this there will be opportunity for participants to create their own individual prints. A variety of techniques will be available from monoprinting with natural forms to woodblock printing. No experience is necessary and full instruction will be given.
Workshops will be designed so participants can attend one or all of the workshops.
