The Late Shows: Street Party Shindig

Did you know that traditional British street parties started as ‘peace teas’as a treat for children after the hardship of WW1? Northern Print will be hosting a street party and invite you, your family and friends to join us as we celebrate printmaking and community spirit around the trestle tables. You can print bunting, see the printing presses in action, chat to our studio artists, find out about our printmaking classes and view our latest exhibition of work by Nicole Polonsky. There’s something for all ages so join us for a new take on an old fashioned shindig!

We're also delighted to announce that we will have Mexican food available to purchase outside courtesy of Chucho's who get a five star rating on Trip Advisor.

The Late Shows is a fabulous annual North East culture crawl takes place over two nights in May and Friday nights are always exclusive to Ouseburn.  Unlike in previous years when Ouseburn hosted events on the Friday and the rest of NewcastleGateshead joined in with us on Saturday, this year Ouseburn venues will open on one night only, so make sure that you come along on the Friday to avoid missing out!
