Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November

We opened our doors from 10am - 5pm* on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November as part of Ouseburn Open Studios.

Visitors explored our printmaking studio and tried their hand at relief printmaking, met two artists, who were demonstrating their unique approach to printmaking over the weekend.

On Saturday Ian Gale, a photographer and printmaker who makes solar plate intaglio prints was on hand to chat about his work and on Sunday Anja Percival was printing from small copper etching plates that had been created using wax resist on aquatint.

Also on show was Gathering, an exhibition presenting original prints by some of our 150 studio artists. The exhibition brought together the many people, ideas and prints that had contributed to the life of Northern Print in 2023. All works were available for sale with prices starting at just £20.
